This weekend we had our birthday celebrations. I made Eric his favorite, Red Velvet Cake. It's a sheet cake, home made too. ☺ It was yummy, if I do say so myself. We also celebrated at Texas Road House with friends, followed by arcade games and good conversations. It was a fun night and I'm so glad we got to see some of the buddies. T'was lovely. ❤
(p.s. the cake was red and not that dingy copperish color, bad lighting, sorry!)

Awww! Great job on the cake! I can't bake. It's actually one of my new year resolutions to try. I came to your blog through a comment you left on mine and have been enjoying catching up. I love your story/ history. It's weird to say but I'm full Korean with full Korean parents but grew up in a rural area north of San Diego. All my friends were blond with blue eyes and I totally had one of those moments of realization too, when I realized I didn't look the same. I'm looking forward to keeping up.
It's funny - I made red velvet cake for my mom's birthday this weekend! (Mine was more brown than red b/c I didn't use food coloring)
